The opening frame is not on the pitch

The football arithmetic sits somewhere else entirely. Thirteen points from seven games. Level on points with Girona, whom Mallorca visit next. In the Segunda División, at this stage, that is a six-pointer — a fixture where the result swings the gap between direct rivals. And going into it, Mallorca's senior goalkeeping department consists of one man: Arnau Tenas, who conceded the only goal of a 1-0 home defeat to Almería through his own error.

These are not two stories. A roof gave way; a depth chart gave way. Two entries in the same ledger.
